Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has published a 25-page letter addressed to Americans, urging them to oppose President Donald Trump in the upcoming midterm elections. The letter claims that Trump's support of Israel is the cause of the war and accuses him of being a liar and motivated by wealth accumulation.
The IRGC also criticized the US government's designation of the security force as a terrorist group, claiming there is no evidence of the IRGC committing violence against civilians. The letter further accuses Trump of concealing the peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear program and claims that the war is decimating the US economy due to high fuel prices.
The IRGC spokesman, Hossein Mohebbi, called on US voters to reject Trump in the November 3rd midterm elections, stating that the president's actions are causing great harm to Americans. The letter also claims that the US economy is on the precipice of collapse due to the war in the Middle East.
The IRGC has long maintained that it can cause significant economic harm to the US, and Iran is currently experiencing a trade free fall under the US blockade. The rial currency has plummeted to historic lows, and the IRGC claims that the Strait of Hormuz is still under their control, despite reports of oil flowing at about half of what it was before the war began.
