What happened
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has killed several Hamas terrorists in recent days, including a platoon commander and other operatives involved in attacks on Israeli soldiers and civilians. The IDF targeted Ibrahim Fawzi Ismail Mohsen, a platoon commander in Hamas's Nukhba Force, and Mohammed Kamel Suleiman Mohsen, another terrorist, due to their involvement in systematic violations of the ceasefire.
In addition to these killings, the IDF also eliminated other Hamas terrorists, including Hassan Mahmoud Siam, a commander who took part in holding hostages during the October 7, 2023, massacre, and Adham Sabhi Salim Ziara, an operative involved in shooting attacks against IDF troops. The IDF also struck Jabr Moqbel, a Hamas commander who led a money exchange network that transferred millions of shekels to the terrorist organization, and Hasan al-Batta, a sniper in Hamas's military wing.
The IDF has also been working to dismantle terrorist infrastructure in the Gaza Strip, including a two-kilometer-long underground terror tunnel. The military has eliminated 16 key Hamas terrorists involved in money exchange and financing the organization, with total revenues exceeding $1 billion.
