A recent report by the Israeli Center for Research of Terror Financing found that Hezbollah received $157 million worth of weapons in 2024, with the majority coming from Iran. The report states that Iran provided $129 million worth of weapons, including rockets, missiles, drones, and anti-tank missiles, as an in-kind grant. Hezbollah spent $28 million on procuring additional weapons, which were limited to small arms, ammunition, and other equipment.
The report details the types of weapons acquired by Hezbollah, including 4,000 short-range Katyusha rockets, 400 Falaq-1 and 2 rockets, and 120 Burkan rockets. It also notes that Hezbollah obtained more sophisticated weaponry, such as Iran's Fajr series and Syrian-origin heavy rockets. Anti-tank guided missiles, including the Russian-made Kornet and Iran's Dehlavieh, make up a significant portion of Hezbollah's arsenal.
The report's findings come as Israeli forces have reportedly decimated Hezbollah's leadership ranks and expended a significant portion of its arsenal in attacks against Israel over the past year. According to IDF Lt. Col. (Res.) Sarit Zehavi, the IDF has eliminated 90% of Hezbollah's rocket and missile arsenal, leaving the group with between 10,000 to 15,000 rockets.
