The FBI's job website was hacked by a group called ShinyHunters, who claim to have compromised sensitive data on almost all FBI agents and individuals who applied for a job, including personal information on 5,000 agents.

What happened

A group of hackers, calling themselves ShinyHunters, has claimed responsibility for a cyber attack on the FBI's job website, apply.fbijobs.gov. The hackers replaced the site's content with an image of a Pokémon character and left a message stating that they had compromised the FBI's data, including personal information on nearly all FBI agents and individuals who had applied for a job with the agency.

The hackers claim to have obtained sensitive data, including addresses, phone numbers, and spouse names, as well as information on the FBI's own hacking team, the Remote Operations Unit. The group says it will focus on
