What happened
A BBC reporting team has gained rare access to the conflict zone in Yemen, traveling with pro-government soldiers to the front line.
The team accompanied government forces from Taiz, passing through checkpoints to the area where Houthi control ends and no man's land begins.
Saudi-backed pro-government forces are engaged in intense fighting with Houthi fighters, who recently seized control of a key shipping chokepoint along the Red Sea coast, escalating the country's civil war.
While at the front line, the BBC crew heard a drone overhead, which was followed by strikes about 10 minutes after they had left the area, according to senior international investigations correspondent Nawal Al-Maghafi.
The situation in Yemen remains volatile, with ongoing clashes between government forces and Houthi fighters.
